Water Quality In The Tampa Bay

Understand The Water Quality In Your County

Those of us in the Tampa Bay Area may not be entirely aware of the Water Quality we’re subject to on a daily basis.

For example, the Environmental Working Group, a nonprofit organization that compiles PUBLIC Water Quality data mandated to be released by Municipal, State and Federal Governments for the purpose of transparency for the taxpayer. The EWG also establishes recommended levels for Water Quality Guidelines which in most cases are centered in public health safety. In contrast, some of our most dangerous contaminant regulatory guidelines, on a Federal level, haven’t changed in over 20 years.
